Emerald ash borer (EAB) was first confirmed in the state of Oklahoma in Delaware County on October 12, 2016.

Quarantine:

Oklahoma has an active quarantine in effect for counties with reported cases of EAB.

  • The quarantine regulates the movement of potentially-contaminated wood products including any ash products and all hardwood firewood.
